GI is forming a new division - GI Housing which will specialise in supplying heat pumps and coordinating available funding within the Social Housing and new build markets. As a result, a number of new posts have been created.
Offering our comprehensive Design, Supply, Install and Aftercare plan for ground and air source heat pumps to the Local Authority and Housing Association markets, as well as Private Developers and Builders. Successful applicants will be dealing with executives at a high level to develop individual offerings that will match their needs. Applicants should have a track record of success within the LA/HA heating product sector (not necessarily with heat pumps) and an understanding of the domestic heating market. A grasp of technical issues will also be an advantage.

Based in our new facilities in Shrewsbury, this important position is a vital part of the team. The main tasks will be to advise, assess and deliver technical solutions for the application of ground and air source ranges, liaise with designers, specifiers, suppliers and customers to ensure that the product selection and application is correct and robust. There will be some requirement to travel, but it will be primarily office based. The key aim will be to ensure that technical support is always available to both customers and the sales force. The world's leading green energy Awards scheme recently announced that Geothermal International is business winner for the Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy 2009. Leading Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) specialists welcome Lord Smith's pledge to transform public buildings

Environment Agency chairman Lord Smith's call for every new public building in Britain to tap into underground heat has been welcomed by a leading force in ground source renewable energy.
Former Labour environment spokesman Lord Smith said the Government should lead by example in the bid to cut the UK's energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions significantly.
