Working together at the forefront of GSHP technology
WATER FURNACE
WaterFurnace have been the world market leader in GHSP technology for over 25 years. Geothermal International have the exclusive European master license for WaterFurnace commercial and residential heat pumps. They have been our exclusive equipment suppliers and business partners for over six years.
Part of one of the world's largest construction companies and a market leader in piling foundations across the UK. They are our exclusive partners in geothermal pile operations. The two companies have jointly pioneered the installation of geothermal pipes within energy piles.
We have a number of patented components and techniques involved in this process.
Value engineering with an experienced team.
Geothermal International have recently formed a partnership with British Gas domestic and commercial divisions as an approved designer and installer of ground source heat pumps.
Specifically Geothermal International are part of a British Gas-led consortium as an approved supplier for the DTI Phase 2 of the low carbon buildings programme.
The Formpave Aquaflow system is the world leader in permeable pavements. Aquaflow has been used for 12 years over 700 sites in the UK. Formpave Aquaflow is manufactured under license all over the world. Starting in 2005, Formpave Aquaflow have been working together with Geothermal International to provide compact ground loop solutions within sustainable drainage.
Geothermal International has an exclusive agreement with AWEB for the supply of Slim Jim -
the Geo Lake Plate Heat Exchanger not only for the United Kingdom, but also for the rest of Europe and Russia (for a total of 33 countries).
Slim Jim is the lake loop of choice for fluid to fluid heat transfer in GeoExchange heat pumps or water cooled equipment (lakes, ponds, rivers, oceans).
Its unique design makes very easy to install. The ideal combination with WaterFurnace geothermal
heat pumps produces an emission free, carbon neutral energy solution for projects of any size (single or multiple units).
Geothermal International has signed up to Rainforest Concern’s Carbon Conscious Programme.
We are aware that our business activities have an environmental impact and in order to compensate
for our office activities, we have decided to donate an amount of money equivalent to our carbon
footprint to the conservation work carried out by Rainforest Concern. Rainforest Concern was
established in 1993 to protect threatened natural habitats, the biodiversity they contain and
the indigenous people who still depend on them for their survival. At present we have 18 conservation
projects in 11 countries.
Central to Rainforest Concern’s philosophy is the establishment of strong
partnerships with small yet dynamic organisations in the countries where
they operate. Such long-term partnerships have repeatedly shown to result
in the sustainable success of projects.
We are pleased to have found a conservation partner who can help us support
sustainability and contribute towards preserving tropical forests. In a world
threatened by climate change, forests continue to play a vital role. It is a
startling fact that 20% of global annual CO2 emissions are caused by the destruction
of forests – more than the total global transport sector. Keeping this carbon locked
up is just the beginning of the story – there is a forestful of other benefits to be
gained: soil protection, erosion and flood control; shelter for biodiversity;
provision of alternative and sustainable use of forest land; restoration and
safeguarding ecosystem services; and security for the area from which 25% of all
modern drugs originated.
