Residential Heating and Cooling
Geothermal International Housing division was formed in response to the growing need for house builders, developers and social housing providers to comply with government legislation for lower carbon emissions and higher energy efficiency within the residential market. Additionally, many people simply want to avoid the use of unsustainable fossil fuels as a heating source, in response to the threat of climate change.
We have a full range of heat pumps for residential installations, from small air source heat pumps for social housing units to ground source heating systems for country mansions and swimming pools. Multiple dwellings, such as blocks of flats or housing estates can benefit from single units for each property, or commercial scale installations, where one plant room services a number of homes. We can advise you on the best system to suit your building and specific requirements.
There are a number of grants and incentives available for the installation and operation of renewable energy technologies, such as heat pumps. These include initiatives specifically for domestic installations, such as the Code for Sustainable Homes and the proposed Renewable Heat Incentive, which offers generous paybacks to property owners.
At Geothermal International our Housing division regularly updates information on funding and incentives. We can advise you on the best options available for each development and help you with the application process.
